In northern Ghana, many communities face significant levels of poverty. Serving Hands exists to serve, support, educate, inspire and empower individuals and families in these communities to help improve their livelihoods.
At Serving Hands UK, our mission is to enhance and change the lives of those who are experiencing hurt and pain.

We love and respect without prejudice.
We embrace all people, listening to them to find out how we can help them beat poverty.
We are committed to demonstrating this love in action, by helping and equipping families and communities to have their basic human needs met.” heading_color=”#333333″ content_color=”#555555″ graphic_color=”#ffffff” graphic_background_color=”#0288d1″ graphic_shape=”circle” icon=”fas fa-heart” css=”.vc_custom_1614936259386{margin-bottom: 0px !important;}”]
Meet Our Team
Founder - Syneider Addy
Serving Hands UK was founded by Syneider Addy. Born in Liberia and raised in Ghana, she moved to the UK at the age of 14 to join her parents who had fled the first Liberian civil war to the UK in the late 1980s.
Syneider trained as an Accountant specialising in project accounting and reconciliations. Amongst the various roles, she has undertaken has been Financial Controller at Crystal Palace Football Club, and UK company Accountant for Callison RTKL, a global architectural firm.
Syneider is a children’s advocate and philanthropist and has committed a lot of her own time to support charities, causes and campaigns. Much of her work has involved mentoring young people as well as championing women in business in villages in Ghana, helping the rehabilitation of women from prisons, and sharing her experience and expertise.
In 2012, Syneider began her charity work in Ghana along with her mother Joyce Taylor. Prior to beginning her charity work, Syneider regularly invested her time and resources in remote villages in the northern part of Ghana – towards basic items such as food and clothing being made available to ensure that women and children in those communities were able to have a basic standard of living – things normally taken for granted in most first worlds.
Syneider is an Accountant by profession who lives with her family in Sevenoaks Kent.
